The Sigma Beta Club is Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity’s international youth leadership program. In Arlington, members learn through workshops, events and trips across Texas, and form bonds that last well past graduation.

Every Sigma Beta Club program runs on a partnership. Service 1st Initiatives does the thinking and the funding. The brothers of Iota Mu Sigma Chapter show up and do the work. Your gift powers both.

Service 1st Initiatives
Plans, organizes and structures every club meeting, workshop, trip and event, and raises the funds that pay for them and for each graduate’s scholarship.

Iota Mu Sigma Chapter, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
Brothers volunteer their time to run the programs, mentor the young men and spread the word across Arlington.

More than 4,500 neighbors came out last time, and we expect 5,000+ in 2027. The celebration is free to attend, so sponsors make it happen, and the funds it raises help send our young men to college.

A golf tournament by day. Sneakerball by night.
OCT 30–31, 2026 · BEAR CREEK GOLF CLUB & GRAND PRAIRIE
Compete in the Annual Golf Tournament, then put on your best sneakers with a suit or gown for an awards night honoring Arlington’s Educator, Business Executive and Civic Leader of the Year, with live music, a DJ and casino night.
