THE SIGMA BETA CLUB OF ARLINGTON
Where young men learn to lead.
The Sigma Beta Club is Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.’s international youth leadership program, and every Phi Beta Sigma chapter sponsors one. Ours is planned and funded by Service 1st Initiatives and mentored by the brothers of Iota Mu Sigma Chapter.
THE PROGRAM
Workshops, trips and brotherhood across Texas.
Members attend workshops, events and special programs across the state of Texas to learn about life, education and business. Along the way they form bonds with one another that last well past high school. Members have the opportunity to be recognized annually with awards and scholarships.
When a member graduates from high school, Service 1st Initiatives presents him with a college scholarship check, funded by our sponsors, events and the Legacy 1914 campaign.
SERVICE IS PART OF MEMBERSHIP
Club members take on community service projects, such as:
Serving the elderly
Visiting children in hospitals
Volunteering at their library
Working with children with disabilities
Cleaning up their neighborhood

“ALWAYS LEARN”
Academic Enrichment & Mentoring
Members receive academic assistance and leadership development at the elementary, middle and high school levels, with mentors who know what it takes to get to college.
“BUILD”
Business Training & Development
Members learn what it takes to own a business and why saving and investing early matters.
“LIVE”
Childhood Obesity, Health & Wellness
Members build healthy eating habits, exercise and self-care, with the goal of reversing childhood obesity.

Use the contact form and choose “Sign my son up for the Sigma Beta Club.” We will follow up with the application and next steps.
